June was PTSD Awareness Month, and the Guild Mortgage Tomball, TX branch highlighted the remarkable work of the PTSD Foundation of America – Camp Hope. Recently, they dedicated a day to visiting Camp Hope, gaining deeper insights into the invaluable support it provides for veterans. They spent the day in the Texas heat doing some much-needed grounds maintenance for the non-profit. Camp Hope provides interim housing for veterans working to heal their invisible wounds. While the veterans are housed at Camp Hope they attend classes, meet with counselors, and are equipped with the tools they need to change the trajectory of their lives.
As the Guild Mortgage Central Region’s Branch of the Year, the Tomball branch has chosen Camp Hope as its designated charity for the year. For every loan closed in the central region, they will contribute $1 to Camp Hope. To learn more about the program and make a meaningful impact in a veteran’s life, visit PTSDUSA.org.
